Happy Halloween!!

On that spooky halloween night, we all went down to Ben 

and Kjirsten's house for some frightfully good Chili, while 

the girls took Ella around trick or treating for some yummy Candy!

Canadian Visitors..

Rochelle and Kaelen and Kids all came for a quick trip to visit.

I think Kaelen was craving Betos and Football. They stayed for

about a week, which half that time the kids were sick and had

to make a trip to the Dr. But we had fun anyways they went to

the movies, discovery museum and had Emma's 5th birthday.  

Ella enjoyed staying here and playing with her cousins everyday.  

The weather was great and the kids went and ate apples off the 

tree every minute they could. Thanks for coming! The only bad 

thing about company is when they all leave everyone is bored again,

no more kid entertainment.

Ensign Peak FHE

Family Hike atop Salt Lake City

Where do you want us to take you when you come to visit.

Our recent excursion to the top of Ensign Peak for

dinner in the park and a walk up to a great overlook of Salt Lake City.

Heather, Aaron and Holly were here for a few weeks in August and

we went on the last night they were here.  Look at Hudson sleeping

away on Kj front sling.  What a trooper Kj you carried him 9 mo and 

now your hiking up the hill with him at a month after you had him.

Summertime is the only time!!

The garden is producing its nice to have fresh veggies to eat.   The farmers market 

calls it field to fork.   John's favorite lunch in the summer grilled cheese with fresh

tomato and cucumbers.  We also made salsa the other day with our jalepeno 

peppers and canned tomatoes from last years garden.  Scrambled eggs and zucchini 

are yum!  The fruit trees haven't done so well one apple tree got to heavy and broke, 

the other one has worms in them (guess we should spray).   We had to fight the birds   

for the cherries.  A squirrel got to our apricots.  And Raccoons are in the grape vines.

Learn something new every year.

SUMMER FUN

JESSICA AND MARIAH IN FLORIDA

the girls took their first trip on an airplane all by themselves.   They went to Florida to visit Heather, Aaron and Holly.  They went to quite a few places and most of them were free or very inexpensive.  Orlando and the Temple, Beaches, parks, Museums, and hanging out with family is always fun.   They even got some free food.  They stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed all of it.  Yes it was hot and humid but they kept cool at the beaches and the pool.  Thanks Coons for putting up with them.  Lots of pics on Heathers Blog.
